The climate crisis demands bold solutions that advance both environmental and racial justice. We push decision-makers at every level to take meaningful action while building grassroots power to drive systemic change. Through political organizing, community mobilization, and strategic advocacy, we fight for policies that address climate change, clean up pollution, and advance environmental justice. We work to identify the issues that matter most to residents and then transform community priorities into powerful advocacy and political action.
ISSUES & POLICY
New York State law requires that disadvantaged communities receive at least 35% (with a goal of 40%) of climate and clean energy investments. We fight to ensure these investments deliver real benefits to frontline communities, including job creation, improved public health, and reduced energy costs. We push for transparent tracking of investments and meaningful community input in funding decisions.
